Djà vu

Almost every person has had djà vu or deja entendu in his/her life. Djà vu is psychological state when a person feels that he has already had such situation but this situation is not related to the certain moment in the past of a person. As a rule djà vu is accompanied with the ability to see future. Those who have frequent djà vu are sure that they are able to predict future.
There are also similar cases of deja vecu and deja entendu.
The antonym of this term is jamais vu that is translated from French like "never seen". It is a state of a person when he/she feels that he/she has never been in usual for him/her conditions.
The impression of djà vu may be so strong that memories of it may be kept for years. But as a rule a person is not able to recall any details of situation that seems similar to him/her.
According to psychologists reality becomes blurred to a person. According to statistics 97% of all healthy people had djà vu at least once in their life and those who suffer from epilepsy even more often. But it can't be caused artificially and every average person feels it rarely. Because of this reason scientific researches of this phenomenon are very complicated.
The origin of it is a mystery. There are several theories that explain the precedence of this phenomenon. According to psychologists they are connected with the processes in brain that are responsible for memory and perception.
According to another theory the effect of djà vu may be caused by subconscious processing of information in dreams. And when people get into situation already processed in a dream they have djà vu. This explanation may be proved by a great number of deja vus that have health people.
Psychiatrists say that djà vu is a psychical disorder.
But till nowadays nobody can tell for sure what djà vu is and why people have this phenomenon. What is it a disorder that should be treated or a mystical ability of our memory?
This question is for doctors and psychologists. It should be explored and investigated.
