Ghosts and spirits
Ghosts and spirits... do they exist? And if they exist where do they come from? Their existence can't be neither proved nor disproved. But every day brings more and more stories, photos and videos that deal with spirits and ghosts.
As a rule ghosts live in houses where before dyeing a person lived or in houses where a person died. Ghosts also appear in places that a person liked to visit when he/she was alive or in places where there was a violent death. Besides, there are also a lot of occasional appearances of ghosts.
It is impossible to describe a ghost or a spirit. Some of them appear in certain periods of time and then disappear but some of them appear regularly disturbing people. Sometimes a spirit of dead person lives in the house during centuries. Some of them may be met on special occasions. For example, ghosts may appear in a house 10 years after the death of a person.
Many people are afraid to visit places that are thought to be populated with ghosts. Some of ghosts are kind and don't harm people, they simply walk about the house. But there are also evil ghosts that disturb people and sometimes even kill them or hunt people.
Some people think that ghosts may be turned out of the house with the help of special rites and ceremonies. Some ghosts disappear by themselves. But still the existence of ghosts wasn't proved and scientists don't believe in their existence.
The phenomenon of poltergeist is widely known too and is considered to be one of manifestations of ghosts. First information about poltergeist appeared in Ancient Rome, later in medieval times and till nowadays it comes from all parts of the world. Scientists are unable to explain this phenomenon.
Poltergeist is some kind of an evil spirit, energy that is accompanied with strange sounds, movement of objects, and disorders of physical form. Poltergeist appears when there are people in the house and rarely happens without any people in the house. 58% of all poltergeists appear at night.
The phenomenon of spirits, ghosts and poltergeists is learned and investigated but still there are no exact characteristics and proofs. This phenomenon was associated with devil and witches in past centuries, and then they were explained by spiritualism and magic. Nowadays there is no exact point of view on this phenomenon. Every person explains it by his/her own way.
There are a lot of photos of spirits and ghosts. But most of them were said to be falsified. But one photo was said to be true. People say that camera can "see" ghosts and visitors from another world. And it can capture the moments that can't be captured by human eye.
Some people even try to communicate with spirits and ghosts trying to calm them down and make them leave the house. In such cases spirit rapping become useful and popular.
