Yeti

Yeti is a humanlike creature that supposedly may be met in different highland and forest zones of the Earth. According to some theories this is a representative of ancient ancestries of people.

According to descriptions of witnesses that were not proved yetis have more strong structure of the body then people's. They also have pointed shape of skulls, longer hands, short neck, and short thighs. They have hairy-covering of the whole body that may be of different colours, but the most frequently met are black, red and grey hair. Their faces are of dark colours. The hair of the head is longer than of the body. Yetis have strong unpleasant smell. They can climb trees and are supposed to live in caves in mountains or in hand-maid nests in forests that are made on the tops of trees.

But scientists say that these yetis are frequently confused with people who refused to live in civilization and went to wild nature.

The majority of scientists nowadays consider yeti to be a myth. There are no representatives of yeti that live in captivity and there are no remains of yetis. However there are hair, traces, several photos, videos and tapes that prove the existence of yeti. But authenticity of these proofs is doubtful.

There are a lot of images of yetis in literature, painting and other arts. But these were not the images of yeti but of creature that were very similar.
